Day #29

Day #29 - Monday

It's official.  I have laringitis.  Yep.  Had to whisper my order at Grounds Central today.  Hillarious!
Today's special was a Butterfinger Mocha.

Oh. My. Word.  It was sin in a cup!  It was just like drinking a butterfinger candy bar (hopefully with LESS calories!)  The flavors were subtle - strong enough to be definately recognizable, but it avoided the overly sweet aftertaste that can come from other (un-named) coffee store's specialty drinks.

Tomorrow is TightWad Tuesday - where you can get your Latte or Mocha fix for a scant $1.50.  It's a true treat!  Don't miss this opportunity!

Until tomorrow...........

Day #28

Day #28 - Sunday

Again, another beautiful sunny day in the Pacific Northwest.  Not really warm (by Southern or Midwestern standards) but I believe it cracked 70 degrees!  LOL!  It was a crisp and beautiful day and I REMEMBERED to order the daily special!

A Carmel Cinnamon Latte - I ordered mine iced - and it did not disappoint.  This one needs to be repeated.  It was like consuming a warm carmel sundae - that has a sprinkling of cinnamon on top.  Yum.

Until tomorrow......

Day #27

Day #27 - Saturday -

Today's special was the B52.  I completely forgot to order it!  What???  Oh yeah.  That was me on Saturday.  In my defense, I was feeling a tad under the weather - and a bit dizzy (yes, more than normal) and it was a b-e-a U tiful day.  Bright sunshine... I got swept away and ordered a Kona Mocha Blended Ice (Big Train).  It was VERY yum.

Day #26

Day # 26 - Friday

TGIF!  Today's special was Butter Pecan White Mocha.  I tried to drink it slowly... so I could give it a proper review... but I couldn't.  So, I'll just say it was a disappointment... that I didn't order a larger size!

Really yummy.

Tomorrow's special is a B52 ??? No clue as to what it is, but come Saturday, I'll be telling you all about it. LOL.  Happy Friday!

Until tomorrow...

Day #25

Day # 25 - Thursday

Today, I asked the cute barista, Lindsey, to make a drink for me ... barista's choice.  As she handed me my hot coffee drink, I asked, "So, what did you make me?".

A Jamaician Rum White Mocha.   Sweet and smooth with a punch of rum flavoring.  I like it... but I don't think I love it.  :)

Until tomorrow.........

Day # 24

Day #24 - Wednesday

Today was beautiful and bright and warm! How fun is that?  I knew what I was going to order before I even left the house.  My mouth was watering as I drove the short distance to Grounds Central.

What did I order??  A Java Chip Big Train blended ice.  Yep.  A Frappe for me!  It was super awesome.  I will be drinking it again... when the weather is warm... (When will that be??)

Until tomorrow........

Day #23

Day #23

Tuesday - I asked the girls to choose a coffee for me.  They made me a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie.  Yep.  A COOKIE coffee.  That's a first for me.

For my honeymoon, my husband and I went to Kona, Hawaii - and visited several small plantations (coffee and nut) along the Kona coast.  Our favorite stop was at a little nut plantation that sold "over roasted" macadamia nuts.  They were positively delicious.  And what they considered over roasted, we considered nutty and yummy.

This drink reminded me of that trip and eating macadamia nuts on Hawaii.

The cookie flavoring made it taste just like a cookie ... So, for those of you who like the sweet coffee drinks, this one should be at the top of your list.  I almost always ask for light syurps... so I think, next time, I will order it without the "cookie" flavoring.

Until tomorrow.........
